Structure & Functionality

The Form Designer platform is organized into two main functional areas, each serving a distinct purpose: the Configuration Panel (Form Admin Menu) and the Dashboard Monitor (Formulare Prozess). These panels provide users with structured access to form management, configuration, and workflow processes.

1. Configuration Panel (Form Admin Menu)

This panel focuses on the setup, customization, and management of forms at both the user and organizational levels. It includes the following components:

  • Forms Global Config A centralized configuration hub where administrators can define global settings, default fields, styles, and process rules for forms used across the organization. This ensures consistency, compliance, and efficient governance of form behavior.

  • My Forms A personal workspace for individual users to manage their own form creations and submissions. Users can start new forms, access drafts, monitor submission status, and review completed forms, giving them full control over their personal workflow.

  • Form Templates A shared repository of pre-designed form templates that teams can reuse or adapt. Templates help standardize commonly used form structures, reducing setup time and promoting consistency across projects or departments.

2. Dashboard Panel (Formulare)

The Formulare dashboard is the operational hub where users interact with active forms and manage ongoing processes. It is divided into key workflow stages:

  • Neu (New) Displays forms that have just been created or assigned but not yet started. It serves as the user’s starting point for new tasks.

  • In Bearbeitung (In Progress) Lists all forms currently being filled out or reviewed. This view helps users manage ongoing tasks and track their progress through different steps.

  • Abgeschlossen (Completed) A record of all finalized forms. It provides an audit trail and allows for easy reference, exporting, or compliance checks.

Together, these two panels support the full lifecycle of digital forms—from design and configuration to execution and completion—ensuring an efficient and user-friendly form management experience.
