Date

Within the Date field settings, set a minimum and/or maximum date to control the range of selectable dates (e.g., block past or future dates).

Min/Max Value Types

1. Days (Relative to Submission Date)

Use this option when you want the allowed date range to be dynamic, based on the current date when the form is being filled out.

  • A value of -2 for Minimum Date means users can select dates starting from 2 days before today.

  • A value of +5 for Maximum Date means users can select dates up to 5 days after today.

  • This is useful for cases like allowing a grace period before or after the current date.

🧠 Example: If today is 12 Sept 2025, and the minimum is set to -2 and the maximum to +2, users can select any date from 10 Sept to 14 Sept 2025.

2. Date (Specific Date)

Use this option to set an absolute date as the minimum or maximum value.

  • If Maximum Date is set to 11/08/2025, users cannot select any date after that.

  • If Minimum Date is set to 01/01/2025, all earlier dates are blocked.

This is ideal for fixed-date scenarios like application deadlines or availability windows.

How to use:

  1. Go into a section

  2. Click any field and select the 'Date' field type

  3. Select either Days or Date for a dynamic or fixed date
